HIKE IN SPAIN
Year-round walking in Andalucía
Februari-December
The south-western slopes of the Sierra Nevada offer excellent year-round walking in a land where white-washed villages, terraced fields and ancient irrigation channels survive from the Moorish era. Abundant Mediterranean crops thrive at lower elevations - olive orchards, orange and lemon groves, almonds, figs and grapes - with snow-covered peaks visible in the distance. Nearby, lies the city of Granada, at once ancient and modern with its twisting lanes and bustling avenues. As a fitting end to this mesmerizing journey: a visit to the eternal Alhambra, spectacular 8th wonder of the world.

Sierra de Grazalema
March-October
The Sierra de Grazalema is an “undiscovered” oasis of green, a mountainous area surrounded by picturesque white-washed villages such as Grazalema, Montejaque and the lovely town of Ronda. Here, you’ll have the pleasure of walking through a landscape of marvellous limestone sculptures, marked by deep gorges where vultures nest among the cliff tops.At lunchtime, you’ll probably reach a village where you can replenish your energy with a round of tapas and vino enjoyed on an outdoor terrace.

Tenerife Short Break El Teide
All year round
A trip to Tenerife 's only complete if you've been atop the Teide volcano. With 3718m height, it is the highest peak in Spain . The clear air, the scenery and at night the stars are amazing. We arrange a night in the hut which is at 3260 m and, very important , a permit to be able to walk all the way up to the crater rim and the top. To avoid erosion of the soft volcanic rock, they want to limit the number of hikers. It 's not really a difficult climb to the top but you do feel the altitude! The sunrise from the crater of the Teide is an experience you will never forget .
